Jean-Yves de Cara

Doctor in Public Law, Professor (agrégé) in Law at the Université Paris V Descartes, Jean-Yves de Cara has been a visiting fellow at the University of Cambridge. He has also been a Law Clerk at the European Court of Justice, as well as a Judge ad hoc at the International Court of Justice. Jean-Yves de Cara practices and publishes in the field of International Public Law, International Commercial Law and European Union Law.
He has taught a special course at The Hague Academy of International Law and has been a visiting Professor in many prestigious foreign universities in UK, Germany, USA as well as at the Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
Jean-Yves de Cara is also frequently appointed as an arbitrator in international arbitrations.
